Kodansha and Mobile Art Lab’s PhoneBook Ride! Ride (aka PhoneBook Popo and Momo Ride! Ride, 2980 Yen/$32) aka when an “old-fashioned” cardboard children’s book meets iPhone and iPod touch apps. That’s how it works: once you purchase the book you can download the free PhoneBook – Ride! Ride! app from the App Store and then insert your iPhone or iPod into the middle of the printed Phonebook. Then you watch it as it plays interactive sequences that match the printed artwork. For now Japanese only!
