Windows Live Messenger now available for iPhone

One Tablet Per Child?


OLPC has announced a partnership with Marvell to create a tablet PC to be sold for less tahn $100, the release deadline being January 6-9 2011. It sounds like an ambitious project (OLPC has already been criticized for his project “One Laptop Per Child” having failed to reach the goal hoped by the organization: the XO computers are, in fact, available for $ 175, a sum which is higher than the announced $100).

Kodansha and Mobile Art Lab’s PhoneBook Ride! Ride (aka PhoneBook Popo and Momo Ride! Ride, 2980 Yen/$32) aka when an “old-fashioned” cardboard children’s book meets iPhone and iPod touch apps. That’s how it works: once you purchase the book you can download the free PhoneBook – Ride! Ride! app from the App Store and then insert your iPhone or iPod into the middle of the printed Phonebook. Milk Monitor allows you to record all your breast-feeding data


Want to keep all the data of you breast- feeding baby all in one place safely and simply? Milk Monitor ($2.99/£1.79 here the iTunes link) is the App for you. Just tap the picture of your baby, pop him/her on the boob and tap the big L or R buttons to start a timer which will record the amount of time spent suckling. Then tap again to stop the clock when she/he’s finished..You can also keep track of the side tof the last feeding and how long it’s been since the last feed. And for those who are bottle feeding, you can also record the amount of milk the baby takes from the bottle.
And there’s more: the Log app allows you to record a number of useful information: naps, medications, diaper usage…poo and wee included! :)
Also, you can send a tweet while feeding, as a warning message for you annoying friends…
